VMM supports workers the globe over who are involved in everything from Christian community development to healthcare, from education to dynamic partnerships with local organizations. Host communities are rooted in places well-acquainted with Christianity and those where such profession is prohibited. From American neighborhoods to Indonesian slums, VMM is present with the church in the world. While they are many, uniting these communities and individuals is a common commitment to Christ’s reconciling work and an acceptance of Jesus’ invitation to participate in the forming work of the Body of Christ.
VMM has developed long and strong relationships with churches in the Mediterranean and Caribbean regions and in the eastern United States. As an extension of the mission of Virginia Mennonite Conference, VMM is also committed to serving as a bridge, connecting its constituents who serve with other organizations with their denominational and congregational families.
