Perspectives Class

God is on a mission to bless the peoples of the earth and you are invited to join Him! Learn more about the Harrisonburg Perspectives class, offered this winter and spring. Orientation is January 10, 2024; the classes meet Wednesday evenings from January 17 to April 24, 2024 at First Presbyterian Church, Harrisonburg, Va.

This 15-week course has been helping God’s people find their place and calling within God’s heart and mission for the past 50 years. Endorsed by a broad spectrum of evangelical denominations, ministries and mission agencies, the class provides an overview of the biblical mandate, a review of mission history, a window into cultural factors and an examination of mission strategies. Students will participate in 15 discipleship-focused classes with reading assignments, and written reflections.
