Long-term Service

Virginia Mennonite Missions has a number of long-term assignments that have expanded into new places as ministries have grown. Our long-term ministries have historically been rooted in several main regions of overseas ministry (as well as the USA).
Term: 2-3 years

tranSend provides the opportunity of one year of service for young adult individuals and couples who are exploring a future long-term ministry, through which participants learn the principles of international ministry and can build a foundation for future long-term service.
Term: 1 year

Partners in Mission

Partners, VMM’s intensive discipleship opportunity, invites small groups to collaborate with the global church in the reconciling work of God through service and learning.
Term: 10 days to 10 months, depending on assignment
