On Thursday, July 14, 2022, Virginia Mennonite Missions celebrated nearing the end of a campaign raising $3 million for new initiatives through a service of worship and commissioning new workers. The service was held as part of Virginia Mennonite Conference Assembly at Zion Mennonite Church, Broadway, Va.

Albania Earthquake Relief Fund


On November 26, a 6.4-magnitude earthquake hit Albania, causing loss of life and damage to buildings, including in the town of Lezhë, where VMMissions has a number of workers and ministries. VMMissions is establishing an Albania Earthquake Relief Fund to help provide food, lodging, clothing, medicine, counseling, and other necessities in the town of Lezhë. We invite you to join us in this effort to share God’s love with our global neighbors in need.

Norma Teles, VMMissions worker in Albania, leads the Joshua Center Girls Club in singing a praise song. The educational ministry of the Joshua Center is for children from the marginalized Roma population, whose parents often face underemployment and discrimination. Norma teaches and models the love of Jesus to these elementary age children and their parents.
