Lee and Peg Martin are presently serving with Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) as SWAP location coordinators in Kimball, W.Va., a small town in McDowell County, the poorest county in one of the poorest states. SWAP stands for Sharing with Appalachian People: “Using the efforts of volunteers, SWAP addresses sub-standard housing in eastern Kentucky and West Virginia. As SWAP location coordinators, Lee and Peg care for and facilitate volunteer groups who typically come for week-long service opportunities. Term: September 2023 to August 2024
