Mediterranean Regional Director
Janet oversees VMMissions’ ministries in the Mediterranean region (Italy and the Balkans), nurturing and caring for workers, cultivating missional vision, encouraging worker support teams and walking alongside international partners.
Ministry Support Coach; Events and Publicity Coordinator
Abe serves as Ministry Support Coach and Events and Publicity Coordinator. Abe is originally from Ohio and recently graduated from Eastern Mennonite University, where he majored in environmental sustainability. He brings experience in event planning and in coordinating mission teams in West Virginia.
Latino Ministries Coach
Lizzette coaches our Latino church planters and leads a local chapter of Instituto Bíblico Anabautista (IBA), which provides biblical and theological education for Spanish-speakers in the Harrisonburg area. She also coordinates equipping events for Latino leaders and builds bridges between them and their neighbors of other cultures.
President
Aaron gives overall leadership to the ministries of Virginia Mennonite Missions. He loves to see people transformed and released into God’s reconciling work through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Director of Advancement
Steve leads the Advancement Team in the work of communications, public relations, and fundraising, and serves as a member of the Leadership Council.
Executive Assistant and Human Resources Manager
Dianna provides administrative support to the President and serves as Human Resources Manager, administering employee benefits programs, coordinating health plans, payroll, monthly MST reports, and worker reimbursements.
Director of Finance
Jan oversees VMMissions’ finances, carefully accounting for funds entrusted to VMMissions and assuring their proper receipting, reporting and audit.
Discipleship Ministries Coach
Martin’s role is to facilitate immersive missional experiences for individuals and groups desiring to follow Jesus faithfully in the world. He facilitates shorter-term mission experiences through the tranSend and Partners in Mission programs.
Administrative Assistant
Melanie’s role includes various responsibilities such as providing administrative support to other staff and ministry support teams, coordinating prayer support, processing mail, and other receptionist duties.
Director of Operations and International Ministries
Lynn’s role is to care for the organizational health of VMMissions, and particularly international ministry, through careful administrative work and nurturing people and partnerships.
Asia Regional Director and Mission Advocate
Carol oversees and cares for the needs of workers in Asia. She nurtures partnerships, supports MSTs, and casts vision for new ventures. As Mission Advocate, writer and teacher, she also has coordinated the Harrisonburg “Perspectives on the World Christian Movement” course, and serves as the content editor for our quarterly Transforming magazine.
Director of USA Ministries
As USA Ministries Director, Skip has the exciting opportunity to specifically encourage and nurture a missional posture among churches and leaders in our conference and beyond, allowing us to join the movement that Jesus began.
Communications Associate
Jon’s primary role is to effectively tell mission stories in ways that reach and inspire the entire constituency of Virginia Mennonite Missions through print and other means.
Associate Mediterranean Regional Director
Tom serves as Associate Mediterranean Regional Director in a quarter-time role, and brings many gifts, wisdom, and experience to VMMissions’ work in the Mediterranean.
