Katie will serve as an intern with Viva Youth in Bogotá, Colombia, a ministry that builds faith community for at-risk youth exiting the foster care system, whom the ministry calls primos y primas. Viva Youth directors Jorge and Ginny Enciso will provide mentorship and oversight, and Katie will participate in the life of a network of house churches that helps to provide this Christian community for young adults.
