Website visitors
Like most website operators, VMMissions collects non-personally-identifying information through MonterInsights, our WordPress analytics plugin, of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Contact forms
VMMissions uses both embedded forms and contact form plugins. The personal data entered for the purposes of personal contact, donations, registrations, or email signups captured when someone submits a contact form is kept in perpetuity. Site visitors who sign up for regular email contact will receive emails periodically as requested. Persons making a donation through the website will have their data entered into accounting software and kept in perpetuity. Data entered in PayPal, our payment processor, is handled according to their privacy policies.

VMMissions uses MonsterInsights analytics which collects aggregated statistics using non-personally identifying data. See their privacy policy.
How long we retain your data
VMMissions keeps contact form entries for two years, online applications for five years, analytics records for two years, and donation records indefinitely.
What rights you have over your data
You may request to not be contacted by VMMissions through mail, email, and/or phone. In that case, your record will be designated “Do Not Contact.” The data in the record itself is the property of VMMissions, and is kept for administrative, legal, and/or security purposes.
Who we share your data with
No personal information provided to VMMissions through online forms is ever shared, sold or transferred with any outside parties.
