Staff

David helps to strengthen and expand partnerships with VMMissions, engaging individuals, churches, and other supporters through fundraising and donor relations. He has experience in pastoral ministry and international mission experience, and is fluent in Spanish.

David is a graduate of Eastern Mennonite University and Eastern Mennonite Seminary, and he has served in ministry in Ghana, Spain and Ecuador, and as an associate pastor at Grace Mennonite Fellowship. He also served on the VMMissions board as Northern District Representative from 2020-2021. David is married to Ericka, and they have two children, Lili and Josiah.

David writes, “In Christ God’s Kingdom has broken into our world. Our calling is to live into that Kingdom in obedience to Christ. Human Kingdoms are no longer to separate us from our brothers and sisters. My calls to mission and ministry have both been in part a response to building bridges and healthy relationships rather than walls, to embrace rather than exclude.”
