Mission Workers
Adam and Elise Sauder
Program name: transForm
Serving since: 2023
Vocation: Discipleship Ministries, Learning/Training
Adam and Elise (names changed) have been appointed by VMMissions as Associated Workers serving with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) at the YWAM Myrtle Beach base and leading groups to outreach locations in Asia and Europe. They have a heart for those who are least-reached with the gospel, and are passionate about discipleship.
YWAM Myrtle Beach’s vision statement is “to train others to go with us to the tough places, near and far, until God is known, worshipped, and glorified by everyone, everywhere.” They do this through six-month-long Discipleship Training Schools, where they disciple young people in a missions context.
This school develops the practical and spiritual skills for missionaries in-training to go out into global tough places to proclaim the good news of Jesus. The Sauders will serve with two different local ministries in Myrtle Beach, one that welcomes, supports, and shares the love of Jesus with international students, and the other which nurtures unity in the community by investing in the lives of “at-risk” youth and families through on-going love, support, and gospel witness.
