Thailand: Youth and Family Worker

Location: (Northeast districts, Thailand)
Program name:
Program length:
Vocation:

Thailand

Assignment: Help the next generation of Isaan youth and young adults grow and thrive as church and mission leaders.

Background: In 1995, a pioneer church planting team began work in the forgotten corner of Northeast Thailand close to the Lao and Cambodian borders.

A house church network with local leadership emerged and has continued to grow since that time, expanding into new districts. These first generation believers have had to break free from many types of spiritual and social bondage. The challenge facing them is to raise up their children and grandchildren to be the next generation of Kingdom leaders to carry forward this gospel witness.

Term: This assignment requires a readiness to serve multiple terms, beginning with an initial 3 to 4 year term focused on studying language and culture.

This assignment would be seconded to a partner agency for primary field direction.
