VMM welcomes new staff; transitions noted

Virginia Mennonite Missions has hired Sarah Schoenhals as Receptionist & Administrative Assistant, starting March 17. Sarah is a recent alumna of VMM’s tranSend program, serving with young adults and children in Det Udom, Thailand.

Janet Blosser’s role as Italy Field Director has been expanded to include VMM’s work in the Balkans (currently Albania, Montenegro and Kosovo) as the Mediterranean Regional Director. Janet’s giftedness in caring for missionaries and tending international church relations, her many years of experience as a missionary in Italy, and her knowledge of VMM workers in the region make this a natural transition.

Ken Horst, who has served as Regional Director for the Balkans since 2011, has transitioned into the role of Development Associate. This role combines Ken’s heart of service in missions and joy in connecting with people of Virginia Mennonite Conference.
