Cindy plans and facilitates promotional events and publicity, manages the use of the Mission Training Center, and carries out various office duties to support the VMMissions staff.

David helps to strengthen and expand partnerships with VMMissions, engaging individuals, churches, and other supporters through fundraising and donor relations. He has experience in pastoral ministry and international mission experience, and is fluent in Spanish.

Lizzette coaches our Latino church planters and Spanish-speaking workers. She also coordinates equipping events for Latino leaders and builds bridges between them and their neighbors of other cultures.

Aaron gives overall leadership to the ministries of Virginia Mennonite Missions. He loves to see people transformed and released into God’s reconciling work through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Kierston partners with Discipleship Ministries Coach Martin Rhodes and the VMMissions Equipping and Global Teams to recruit, train, send and encourage new mission workers. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Jan oversees VMMissions’ finances, carefully accounting for funds entrusted to VMMissions and assuring their proper receipting, reporting and audit.

Lydia oversees the administration of salaries/benefits for workers and staff. She works closely with Support Team in celebrations, details, and overall making the administrative side of VMMissions run smoothly and support our people well.

Martin’s role is to facilitate immersive missional experiences for individuals and groups desiring to follow Jesus faithfully in the world. He facilitates shorter-term mission experiences through the tranSend and Partners in Mission programs.

Melanie’s role is to provide administrative support to the President, and other administrative responsibilities.

Jason gives overall leadership to VMMissions’ international and domestic ministries. He has 15 years of experience as a cross-cultural worker with a sister Anabaptist agency, where his roles included orientation, mentoring, and developing strategic vision with cross-cultural teams.

As Ministry Coach – USA, Skip has the exciting opportunity to specifically encourage and nurture a missional posture among churches and leaders in our conference and beyond, allowing us to join the movement that Jesus began.

Jon promotes VMMissions by producing print materials and online media for VMMissions’ external communications needs. He facilitates the work of the Transforming content team, and collaborates across teams as the website administrator and content manager. In addition, he handles IT responsibilities as server and system administrator.

Karen supports the wellness of VMMissions workers through coaching and lends administrative support to Jason Showalter and the Global Team. She also coordinates weekly staff prayer times.

Tom builds and nurtures relationships among the worker team and local partner congregations in Albania, Kosovo, and Montenegro, bringing many gifts, wisdom, and experience to VMMissions’ work in the Balkan region.
